Tell us about you:
I started at DATS fresh out of uni, with a love of food, drink & exploring, always on the hunt for the best new places to go, both in Manchester or further afield. Fast forward a few years and I’ve since worked in marketing for Global Radio, where I spent my summers at festivals and gigs, followed a stint at the BBC in the Youth Marketing team where I ran campaigns across TV & online, as well as working on the brand strategy for a suite of new kids apps. As well as working in marketing & PR, I’ve also worked on the editorial side, writing food & drink news for local publications.
After six months living in the French Alps, I took the decision to move back to Manchester & DATS to take up a new role as Creative & Client Services Director so I can spend all day coming up with exciting content ideas for our wealth of clients.
What’s on your pizza: The rest can vary, but always mushrooms. I hate it when there is too much topping. Nobody likes a soggy bottom.
Drink of choice: Tequila cocktails, they get me every time. I see you Crazy Pedro’s happy hour…
Ideal holiday: In the snow! Snowboarding late season is THE BEST, when you can play in the snow all morning then sit in the sun with a beer in the afternoon. Don’t get me wrong I love the beach, but there’s nothing better than exploring the mountains on a snowboard on a blue sky day.
In my time off you’ll find me: In a beer garden, running, or doing DIY.
If I could take one thing to a desert island: Moisturiser, without a doubt. I’d feel like a raisin otherwise as I’d spend so much time in and out of the sea.
